Cool - let me know how you get on.

  3. Ray Prince Says:

I added the code for Google, however it did not verify? I only added the part beginning E and ending with a number. Any ideas where I’ve gone wrong? Great plug-in, just need to get it to work! :)

Great plugin! Was about to write my own until a little searching turned this up :o)

One small query, would it be possible to have the META tag in lower case?

  6. Jonathan Says:

    Cool - thanks!

  7. Jonathan Says:

Ray, you do need to add the entire code you get from Google.

  8. Jonathan Says:

Darren - yes - definitely - good idea! It should generate xhtml compliant code then…
    I’m uploading a new version 1.3.1

  9. Jonathan Says:

Darren, 1.3.1 is uploaded… check it out - the meta tags are now lower case.

  10. Darren Says:

Many thanks, keep up the good work :o)

  11. Ray Prince Says:

Jonathan, I’ve added the full meta tag code and it will still not verify.

I’ve noticed that after I’ve added the code and click on update, the only text remaining in the box is meta name=\.

It simply won’t save all the code I’ve entered.

Not sure where I’ve gone wrong…

    Ray

  12. Jonathan Says:

Ray, can you email me your code? (Don’t post it here)… it may be an escaping issue.

  13. Craig McGill Says:

Jonathan, I’m having the same issues as Ray on two sites I’m trying to install it on. Did you manage to resolve Ray’s issue?
